Re: Great Vid on GTV6 racing
Great video. Crops up on my playlist from time to time.
That's back in the good old days when Australian racing was more than just Holden (GM) vs. Ford. Mind you, now days the vehicles are identical underneath anyway.
I know of at least one of those cars being purchased by a mechanic who installed a 3.3 (?) litre engine. Last I heard he was converting it back to the 2.5. Not sure what happened to the other car.
Those 2.5s were some serious weapons. I'm pretty sure a few people here would be able to tell you more.

Re: Great Vid on GTV6 racing
It is astounding that the 2.5L Alfas could go out and play with the 5L cars.

I'm the wrong person to be asking, but I have a few links I can share.

The second post down is the guy who own the Dulux GTV6 on here... Scott, I think.

A guy on here posted on the whereabouts of the old cars. Might be some more info, not sure.
From memory they ran something like 275hp out of the original motor. They were pretty impressive.
Surely someone here can be more helpful?
