Michael, excuse my ignorance but what does a site like this need in $ to run for a year ? What type(how much) of donation would make a difference. This would hepl put things into perspective I know didly about !!

What is a propper donation and what is considered an insult.

An average website costs about $500/year. Not 100% sure how much it costs to run this site. Depends on web host, bandwith, storage space, domain name registration cost, etc.

I'm guessing if only 10% (127)of the members here donate $5, that should help. Mike hasn't asked much, if at all over the past 12 years, so I think any amount will help. Just to be safe, assuming only 5% (64) members donated, than $10 should be ok. That's $10 a year. If you can donate more, why not.
