Ok that's true ! it is funny how we can use the same langage between the both sides of the ocean regarding the beer !!!
The clipboard will resume more than thousand words. The engine is almost stock except a lightened flywheel and a direct air induction.
I like the sound of this engine and its smoothness while is reving till 7000 rpms !!

I miss the sound of the 2.5 V6. My 3.0 sounds like some... whatever, definitely not in the same league as the 2.5 V6 at 7K rpm in terms of sound.

Nice!
That Lucchini, is that a group C/N car? A guy in the Swedish Alfa Club races one just like yours, very fast!

The GTV hasn't been modified regarding the tranny.
I wish i could find a box from a 75 Turbo in a junkyard but they are not so often.
The Lucchini is a group C/N, it raced the italian championship in the 92/93.
For sure it is fast ... when the engine runs well

That BMW looks fantastic, hillclimb or circuit? Did you build it yourself?

Yes Mats we did it. It took us 3 years to create this car but i must say we are proud of the result. If i can go in "off topic mode" here are some more pics for the interested ones (front air dam is protected with film).

Behind you can see the good old 155 2.5 TD used for the trailer with its VM engine and its blown head gasket as well ... it eats more water than diesel !!
We are too lazy to repair it ...

You drove it at the track today?
Looking
very sharp! E34 M5 engine? Lifting a front wheel there as well.
Have you changed the camshaft cogs yet on the 155? Every 60 000Km you know...

Het Mats you've got a sharp eye ! Yes the engine is M5 E34 (315hp) with Sybele EFI and Zeitronix data logging. A good stuff to do a good job.

Hi Fred, your taste in cars is very similiar to some of the chaps at our Alfa club in SA. We have one chap who has five CSL's including an origional 'batmobile'(aluminium body with the lots of wings on it- hence how it got its name). It still has its German plates on after been here ten years. Great car to drive and look at due to its rarity here.
Looks like you have fun with your cars.
Cheers
