Can anyone tell me whats with this Alfa badge...?
Just wanted to show you all the badge which sits on the back hatch of my gtv6.
Its not the usual colors, mostly blue shades. No red cross, snake is still green, but looks great with the gold rings on the outside.
Has anyone seen an alfa badge like this one before?
And if so, why is it these different colors...?
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this!

That's a little bit like mine. On mine the clear protective film came off and the enamel got oxidized. The blue faded, the red turned to brown, the green went sorta black. I (carefully)used some cutting compound which removed the oxidation, but the colour is gone forever.
Yours looks like it's supposed to be this way though

Oh yes, its not faded or discolored at all. Car has been garaged its whole life.
Its meant to look like this for sure , but why, i dunno.
Hope others get to see it, maybe someone will know.....
I'll take a better quality shot of it tomorrow, car was very dirty when i took that photo.

For what it's worth, I just looked at my front badge and it looks the same as your hatch badge.
The car is an 83 Cali spec GTV6. I believe that the badge is stock, and despite the chip, the colors don't appear faded or changed much at all. The rear badge on this car is the usual one, with red in it.
