Bosch TPS for GTV6 / Megasquirt
A Porsche 944 Turbo TPS looks like a bolt-on proposition to replace the GTV6 TPS. It’s kinda pricey ($100) - maybe because it’s made for a Turbo car and therefore better sealed, or maybe just because all Por$che parts seem to cost a fortune
Does anyone have a Bosch part number that is also a bolt-on? I hear the Volvo 850 TPS works. I just want to have this signal for data logging since I'm using the MAP signal, but maybe will want to experiment with the TPS signal in the future.

I recently found out that a TPS from a Delta Integrale fits a TS TB perfectly, not sure if it helps you at all but it maybe someone can be helped by it.

I think so yes. The 3.0 board is much more robust - a good write up on it here:Zamani wrote:Mike,
What's the advantage of V3 vs. V2.2? Maybe you can sell your board to me? Both can do spark control right?

I like the bit about better support for MS-II and MSnSE - with a direct ignition coil driver built into the board. Its also apparently more resistant to the dreaded tach falsing phenomenon that I fought so long.
Once I have the replacement built, I'd consider selling my 2.2 board. However, its been soldered and de-soldered on quite a bit so I'm not so sure you'd want it
The TPS is 0 280 120 400 - for a turbo.

Michael,
I'm looking for a 3-wire TPS (true potentiometer) for my verde with GoTech. The Bosch parts number you listed above seems to have a 6-pin connector, and not a 3-pin connector - pic
From this site
Do you use the 6-pin TPS for your MS? Do you know how to wire it for 3-wire?
Andrew told me he is trying 0 280 120 308 instead - pic. Unfortunately it doesn't show the pins, but from the size you can tell it must be about 3 pins.
Edit: But from the Hugo parts list 0 280 120 308 appears to be a TPS SWITCH and NOT a TPS POTENTIOMETER - check out page 70 for symbol description and 71 for Bosch parts number 0 280 120 308. Note that the verde has a 0 280 120 304, if I remember correctly.

The idea was to find a bolt-on true potentiometer TPS with 3-pin connector. Lets see what Zamani turns up. Zamani? Worst case, the 944 Turbo is a straight bolt on, and then it's just a matter of figuring out which of the 6 pins to use.

Zamani, is that a bolt-on to the milano throttle body? My reason for asking is that it maps to the same Huco part (138601) as the one suggested by Enzo, which he says is not a bolt-on... You can see the Huco part on page 76 of the catalog referred a few posts up.
