Has anyone removed the window trim for painting? Also the roof rail plastics. Anything to look out for? Any tips. Thanks a ton

Dean,Dont bend the roof trim at all. This will damage it badly. When removing trim, drill out the pop rivits under the front a post. Then gently pull the trim up and roll it upwards. It will stick but suddenly and slowly it will start coming loose at the bottom side.Dont pull the whole thing of from the front, move back with the beading in little steps and keep rolling it upwards. It should have a slight twist in it when your done, but this will go away when you refit it.
Do you have the stainles trim or the plastic trim??Refitting is the opposite to removal. You might need a dead blow hammer and a thickish cloth to help the bottom side clip in again. It hooks at the top and slides underneath at the bottom.

French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.
