I am noticing many differences in the install of the GTV6 hood to this car. Hood spring, among other things, is the non-GT hood spring shorter? And where can I find the hood spring "slider/stop"?

Also, I see the latch is different, I can modify the hood to make this work, but is the non latch system going to be in the way of a v/6?

Here is a picture showing where I am at with the hood, this is the GTV6 hood with the non spring.

Could some one give me a height measurement of a GTV6 hood spring, with hood opened, from core support to top of the spring loop, thank you! Mike
