Thanks!
Do you have a build thread here? If no, why not?

Re: Alfetta GTV Turbo - Race Car update. 85% done.
Did some checks today, I'm having some stuff made and I wanted to have a look beforehand on what I can expect.
So the two panels under the meters are pure powerpoint engineering.
But they do reflect what the end result would look like, except that I'm going to have black rubber covers on the switches. Not available as a CAD-file though.
Visibility from the friver seat was not amazing though, this is what I see, except there is an arm in blocking the whole bottom one and most of the top one.
Tried the new injectors to see how things would work, the test ones didn't do great because of the large diameter body, the Siemens ones worked almost perfectly.
The #2 injector is tuned upside-down to check if it was possible to mount them like that. The answer is no. Connector doesn't clear the intake runner.
Another thing was the tighness around the coolant temp sensor I mounted in a "blind" boss casted into the intake. It just clears the fuel rail.
Oil pressure senders for the gauge and for the Engine management.
Very happy to find this one, it's a VDO part that fits the stock M10x1 and has two 1/8" NPT take offs for aftermarket stuff. Saved me a lot of time making parts and very cheap too!
Just a pic of the oil feed to the turbo, teflon AN4 with a heat protective sleeve. Very close to the turbine and I will probably fit one of those turbo heat caps to keep things cooler.
No crank trigger pickup..
But thanks to Maurizio I got some front covers with a sensor pickup position that fits the Nord head. Good friend!
Plenum is ready for anodization, the last take off point is in place, from ledt to right; Fuel pressure regulator, Boost gauge and MAP sensor.
Just had to do a clean up shot of the passenger footwell.
A few wires yet to be installed but it's starting to come together!
Feels very good.

Mats,
I see that you don't have the pintle-style injectors. I'm guessing you are using the 3-4 hole new style injectors? Do you have any good info that these actually are better (power wise) ?

Four holes yes.
If you buy injectors today, that's what you get. Atomization i better I'm told, not really bothered by all that. Probably all injectors available today are good enough. As long as they are balanced between cylinders it will be fine.

I really hope so, starting to feel like it's possible too.
I'm waiting to hear from the machine shop about some parts, when I get them I think my motivation will be a lot higher. Like a big leap forward on the todo-list.

Re: Alfetta GTV Turbo - Race Car update. 86% done.
I've been living in a boat house in a small village on the swedish west coast for just about two weeks...
Excellent 3G coverage but race engines has not been on my mind to be honest.
Edit: On the other hand me and the GF have FINALLY found a new place to live that is large enough! Hopefully this means I can actually get back into thinking about the car. I was side-tracked by the sale of my last place, took more time/energy than I thought (but gave me a nice profit) and then I got a new position at work and then vacation...
So nothing done on the Racer.
Still need to polish up the 155 V6 Sport -96 (yes, widebody) for a possible sale. Haven't even thought about it since November so why keep it.

Re: Alfetta GTV Turbo - Race Car. Died Dec 1 -14. :(
Ok, so if you haven't heard already my whole workshop and everything in it was destroyed in a HUGE fire Dec 1 last year. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in there was destroyed except for one thing, my Turbo manifold.
A friends Lotus Elise was just gone, literally nothing left.
So there won't be any updates here again I'm afraid. Too bad I never got to start the engine and try the new everything on the car but that's life I guess. Still got my health and family so I'm pretty ok.
Still haven't decided wheter to keep the manifold in it's current state as a memento/conversation piece or to polish it up and sell it to finance some other parts.
