Marco from Hamburg / Germany
Hello oder like we say " moin moin",
I'm a little bit between the modell transaxle and the others old Alfas, because my one Alfa is a Duetto with a transaxle engine and my other Alfa is a Alfa 6 or Alfa Sei.
I love Turbo engines and the settings around and this is the reasons I'm here.
My english is not very well and like my cars expandable...
till then marco
Duetto:
Engine: 75 / 1.8 Turbo
ECU: Adaptronic 420 C with Stage Injector: 198ccm³ and 440ccm³
Turbo: GT28RS
Throttle: Spica singel otimized
Power: 224 KW Flywheel @ 1.25 Bar ~ 6800 RPM
Alfa 6
original
Engine 2.5 Injection

there is actually inside nothing speciale...
stock piston, rods and crank
modified is the inlet, oulet, flywheel, clutch, C&B cams and oil jets for piston cooling.
further a stainlees steel exaust manifold and 3" exaust pipe with catalytic converter.
inlet manifold and plenum is made for 8 injectors.
4 injectors (198 ccm³) in original place and another 4 injectors (440cm³) in the plenum.
the compressions ratio is 8.5 and boost mostly between 0,8 Bar and 1,25 Bar.
btw. hamburg is a lovely city but mostly to cold and rainy not like australia. I envy you for the weather...
greeting marco

Re: Marco from Hamburg / Germany
That is some nice machining..
Very nice inlet and exhaust manifold. They look to be designed for much more bhp...
I was wondering how you would fit an intercooler and i couldn't have thought of that curved intercooler. Very smart.
Und jetzt mal gummi machen damit...

Re: Marco from Hamburg / Germany
this is depends, if my wife with me only less is possible and alone on the highway (Autobahn).......
I tune my Adaptronic Ecu now from ~ 0,8 Bar (12psi) aprox: 240 HP up to 1,25 Bar (18 psi) with 305 Hp.
In the future I will fix the setting up to ~ 1,6 Bar (24 psi) or a little bit more when the turbo can it deliver without to blow only hot air.
