Re: The Orange Cab -MD's New Racer
paint engineering, I love it...
Why not add a second arm below, and spacer the distance between the 2 (existing / new) arm.

Re: The Orange Cab -MD's New Racer
Yeah Maurizio that is my other suggestion too. That way you could fit the tie rod to a position between them for adjustment but you would need to use a rose joint instead of the ball joint which is ok.

Ok, ages since I looked at a 116 upright - dust shield holes are not much use!

Dunno about the magna 'cause I dislike shitsubishi with a passion so I would never use their parts. BJ's are from the Holden Gemini series.
As its been a while perhaps you forget what a good fixing point the disc vent plate mounts are. Especially in combination. Got no concerns about that at all.

Magna is a Canadian company, just so we are clear on that...

No we are not clear on that at all cause this is the piece-de-resistance or at least one of the many versions.
Just to be clear the BJ is not from this car or any Magna as I have previously said.
..but we digress.Lets stay on target

Holly shit, 4 pages already how could I have missed this one?
Mike we all know why you sold the brick...
Admit you were fed up being seen as an old fart driving a family SALOON, when you can have 20 years back driving a proper italian coupe... Dating college girls again?
And man you really need to learn how to post pics correctly
Gratz, and hold on tight on that hammock

Re: The Orange Cab -MD's New Racer
Thank you QereteiP. Your much valued contribution to the occasional lunacy is appreciated.
Mate I know it must be terribly confusing for you Polak types who survive on Polish Gherkins and Polish Salami alone. That's tough. Don't remember that being the best brain food and I suppose you haven't had the update via the crankhandle telephone either. I know what a new and trendy piece of gear that is in the land of Polski. Possibly there aren't too many installations just yet so you have to ring yourself up for some advice unlike JK who gets his advice from MAD Magazine which is usually spot on.
Anyhow this is how life in OZ actually works beleive it or not.Everybody uses them here. Our superbike champions Mick Doohan, and Casey Stoner use them. Our Formula one champions Alan Jones and even old Jack Brabham had them way back then. The milkman uses them too but the ones on his horses look a bit different. I use them also.
The neat trick about living in the southern hemisphere is that when you take a piss, it runs uphill. Beat that fella !!

Lol, we may use cranklandle telephones, but man it took you 8 days to
post a reply. I guess it's true what they say about the
Aussie internets - that information is carried by kangaroos.
So what's your bandwidth then? (kangbits per hour / kngbph)

Hey QereteiP,nice try fella but I bet you are still pissing on your shoes.
Response speed is all about priorities. We do our speed on the track. Let me see now, at last count the number of Formula One Polak champions are ...er..counting..er , none. We are building a new one, Mark Webber while you're are still jerkin the gherkin..
BTW I phoned you last year, have you got the call yet? The sound of that phone call is a bit like, ring ring ring ring ring.See photo, you'll get the idea soon.
Anyhow what was the outcome of your tailshaft mod and installation. How is your car running?
As for the rest of you mob watching this dual of the gherkins, I'll be back on track soon with some updates. Got the engine in the car yesterday..
