Isostatic Interchangeability?

Post by Terafrost »

Does anyone know if isostatic linkages are interchangeable between models?
The one in my GTV6 is in need of repair and I would like to rebuild a spare I have from an Alfa 90, rather than have the car on stands for a week whilst I search for parts.

Any hints would be brilliant.

Cheers

pretty much just measure up the components against one another.

They are the same for 75 and gtv6.....

Thanks for the reply, Xrad.

I've since ascertained the fact that they are the same, I just wanted to try and avoid having it out of the car for weeks until the rebuild happened. She's my daily driver :)

The linkage is shorter on a gtv6 than on a 75. But it's just a matter of cutting and welding...

:? ummm ... Guram, by 'linkage' do you mean the long 'shift rod' going from the stick to the iso-links..

or do you mean 'iso-linkage'

the 'shift rod' is definitely longer in the milano(longer wheelbase), but the iso-linkage is the same.

I meant the long horizontal shift rod which is longer due to the wheelbase.
The linkage part are the same.
