Re: Anyone know the outcome of Larry Jr's project
It's not so much a trans conversion as putting v6s into 105/115 chassis cars.
He's got a thread over on the BB, but the foundry have screwed things up and each bellhousing is having to be individually clocked for machining due to shift in the castings - so Larry is making a substantial loss on each bellhousing that he's making for the guys who've ordered them.
The 105/115 gearboxes are plenty strong (short of the twin turbo guys) and shift nice when in good shape.
