Dear Listers:
I live in the SF Bay Area and have a very nice 1988 Milano Verde. My transaxle has begun to make very serious groans, and I wonder if anyone can recommend a shop or rebuilder that I might contact? Actually, I am at the point of looking to ANY option! If you get the chance to send an advice, you are helping me to keep my Verde on the road!

I actually offered my Verde box for sale, but it actually needs an over haul.

Rich at Continental Motors in Mountain View does very good work and is very reasonable. I trust him a lot.

Whenever there's a job we don't have time or tools to do, we make the drive up to him.
