Release Bearing for Clutch where to buy ?

Hello again,

I am looking for a clutch release bearing form my gtv6 1984. I am checking diffrent websites for it. Is there another name for it ? Hmmm... Any ideas where I could find it ?

Call IAP, I just bought one from them a few weeks ago. Expensive though, almost $300, but they should last a long long time.

Would the release bearing for Milano work, I see those for aprx 250 dollars.

Oh I thought you had the single clutch unit in your car, in any case I had to call IAP for mine. I'm not sure if they are interchangeable.

How do I know if it is a single or double unit ? it is GTV6 1984 V6 2.5L

You wont until you take it out.
$300 for a "throw out" bearing (another name for it ) is outrageous.!!!

When you take it apart, take the bearing along to a local bearing supplier, they should able to cross reference it with brands like ,Timken, F.A.G.,SKF.

All very good brands. If that doesn't get you anywhere, try AFRA, Italy.
