shift options?

Post by sh0rtlife »

somewhere i once saw where someone had TOTALY ditched the stock shifter setup..but cannot find ANYTHING about it

anyway i have a ..uhh..well.."project" consisting of a HEAVILY modified milano chassis coupled to a 58 lloyd body(well its getting there anyway)....lets just say its lighter shorter and overall smaller than a gtv6 (78inch wheelbase yes 20 inches were taken out of the milly)

id LOVE to go with a cable shifter setup or something less prone to wearing out..something ALOT more precise and refined...the obvious answer is CABLE..the question is how?...ive got room in the "new" console design so im not worried about a shifter box above the tunnel

anyone got any links to no longer stock shifter solutions?

Mate, that's a custom made job. Can't just buy it off the shelf.

Lloyd ???? I had two of those when I was a kid. Picked them up for 20 bucks each in a central Texas junk yard! Out foxed a DPS trooper in one of them too once! Never seen one since.
