Direction indicator/hazard warning switch wiring

Post by geoff »

Spray painters disconnected the hazard warning switch on my 1994 GTV when they removed the dash...and didn't bother labeling or replacing the wiring, now I am having a heck of a time tryin to figure out which wires go where on the unit...Can anyone help or send pic of back of unit or advise which wire [colour] goes onto which terminal!!!

geoff,

my bad...English
Mate, if English is not your first language then that expression is understood and forgiven.
On the other hand if it is then it's meaning is nonsense.

The correct expressions are :-

My mistake.
My error.

The other nonsense trendy expression that is doing the rounds is "from the get go"

What this dribble is saying:

From the start.
From the beginning.
From the commencement
Initially

geoff, this is not directed at you as a personal attack. It is however a personal rant about bastardization of the English language and is provided for the international readers of this Forum to increase their understanding of it.

MD , I never knew you Ozzies spoke the Queens language . :D I needed subtitles when passing through Koodapedi . ( Cober Pedy)
Living here in UK from my escape from Serf Efrica I find myself repeating most sentences . I'm not sure if its the mumble , accent or pure dribble :) my wife says its all the above .
Of the fifty new words I have learnt here I have also come across - my bad - but that's through a Canadian friend .
Now Geoff did you fix the side repeaters yet :!:

I stand corrected, MD.
Incidentally, no language has the propensity for 'bastardizing' other languages like English! Notwithstanding, the terminals on the hazard warning switch are labeled/numbered as follows... can any one fill in the blanks because the electrical diagrams do not give the info..

terminal wire colour to/from

49a
49
30b
R
30
15
L
31

thanx much!
