After messing around with my AFM and being straightened out by the more knowlegable among you I decided to start with a clean slate.I bought a virgin AFM (I know the previous owner and he never even looked at it sideways !).Well of course the first thing I did was procede to open it up :evil: .I went for the five notch loosening of the spring and went for a run with my voltmeter attached to my new oxygen sensor.At full throttle I saw about .78V.Eventually I had to go to 13 notches to get .9V.Greg I'm starting to wonder if it's possible that Canadian AFMs are differently calibrated or is it simply within the range of normal tolerances that I have to go this far to achieve a good ratio at WOT ?By the way its a 1986 GTV6 with new fuel press.regulator which gives me 35 psi.flowing into Greg's injectors.Car runs great by the way I'm just an idiot in search of 1/2 hp more.

I think that's just a normal variation. On the cars I have adjusted (which are my two GTV6s) it took about 6 notches on the car with the ZAT ecu and a little more on the other one.

Mats, .9 volts is just about a 12.5:1 air fuel ratio which is generally accepted to be ideal for max power.
