I bought what was alleged to be a 155 V6 coil pack. I found that the coil connecters are not the same as the distributor connector on the 75/GTV6.

ChrisS, I believe you're using a 155 V6 coil pack too right? Does it have the pin in the middle of the holes of the coil pack or not? I wonder if the one I bought was for a Mondeo v6 or something.

Mats,

On the high voltage side. Maybe all I need to do is get a set of plug wires from a 155 to fit on my 75. But Let me know too how many ppins you got on the low voltage side, should be 4 pins right (3 signal, 1 gnd) ?

from how all my other coils work I'd expect 1 positive and 3 ground (through the ECU) but there might be built in electronics i.e. amplifiers and tach-outputs and such.

I'll try to remember to have a look/snap some photos.

Here you go.

4 pin Amp connector and a somewhat non-standard plug lead. Couldn't get a clear shot of the post, the battery is in the way...

Fantastic! So it is the correct coil and all I need to do now is just buy as set of coil for the 155 V6. Thanks Mats.
