Nissar my understanding is that the stock GTV6 2.5L injector flows 19.5 lb./hr.which translates to 205 cc.

Nissar CORRECTION I made a mistake (very rare - just ask my wife  ) The GTV6 2.5L injectors flow 17.5lb/hr not 19.5 as stated before, so that translates to 184 cc/min.

Important also is the fuel pressure that the flow is measured at. The GTV6 has a odd pressure setting compared to most other cars.

Does anyone know what that fuel pressure is?

MR2 Zig nominal fuel pressure from the AR shop manual is 35.6 psi / 245 kpa / 2.5 bar

I had mine flow tested. It was around 186 cc/min at 43 psi. So with 37psi on a Jetronic the flow rate is a little lower lower.

I knew the flow rate was dependant on pressure....tho I didn't know what that pressure was and I thought the OP might not have been aware of that facet of specifing new injectors.

Thanks Z!

For 200 bhp you may not have to upgrade injectors. Just put a motronic regulator from a 164 or something inline with the return hose. That will give you the 186 cc/min. Going to 37 psi won't make the flow rate decline so much. There is a forumla for it, somewhere I think RC injectors has a formula for it. If you reduce the fuel pressure by 10% you will lose far less than 10% in flow rate.

I've got 17.6lbs/hr @ 36.5 written in my notes but I'm not sure where that came from.

The formula is:

[ sq. root(new pressure/old pressure) ] x old flow rate = new flow rate

Also,

lbs/hr x 10.2 = cc/min
