direction indicator problem

Post by borto »

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with my direction indicators.

The hazard light function is working properly, however the relais is making a kind of double clicking sound.

When I activate the direction indicator to the left or the right, it is clicking pourly. It seems like a weak ground. I checked the wiring of all indictors but could find any problem until now.

After examining the electrical scheme I have a few questions:
- Where are the grounds of the direction indictors.
- Are they all grounded left of the fuse box where the dash board is fixed to the body?
- Where is the connector which connects the front and the rear indictors?
- Are the side indictors grounded in the fuse box?
- What is this "double clicking sound" in the relais, is it still OK or does it need to be replaced?

It would be great if anyone can clearify these questions.

Thanks in advance!
