Yes, 156 2.5v6 with broken engine.
Lightened to 1250kg (-50kg at front!)all pu bushes, ahm lsd, changed geometry (5cm longer wheelbase - bigger castor) front gta swaybar, rear homemade blade arb, koni sport kit and so on :)

Mats has been about as polite as is possible................
This forum is devoted to the rear wheel drive GTV6's, with plenty of allowance for the 75 (Milano for those who can't handle numbers for names) and the Alfetta/Giulietta transaxle cars.

The Alfa V6 builds are common to fwd/rwd. The interest goes away when installation begins in a fwd car.

He could always convert the 156 to rwd 8) . That would really get me interested. :mrgreen:

I converted 33 to rwd once...
I know it's a rwd forum, that's why i'm posting about engine and not the car!

Modified a 4x4 systems for rwd only? I remember seeing vids of a red 33 with a lot of noise going sideways. :)

Yep that's mine, permanent 4 with welded viscous coupling and modified gear coupling in gearbox. And ofcourse remowed front axles and diff.

I was just surprised to see the intermediate shaft.. :)
I think it's great that you share, as Jim said, it's all the same until you fit it into the car... :)

How did you choose 107*? Is there some Alfa spec for this?

I had them at 106° when engine was in my gtv and now i will try the spec from the man that sell this regrind cams.

You mentioned before cam duration is 290*? :shock: Std cams have ~247* and the ones we regrind have ~260* seat duration. Your 290* is bordering on race jobs -is this what you want?
Have a look in the Catcams list and you'll see what I mean. You can of course forget about civilized idling! Remember, these engines are next to dead in the lower range, so you are not helping it get better with these cams!

Yep i was told they are 290°. Well i have them almost two years now and in my gtv (916) i was totaly satisfied.
