Brand new GT2560R BB Garrett Turbo for anyone's project..?

Post by GarthW »

I have a brand new in the box GT2560R BB Turbo from Garrett which i only bought from Rotormaster afew weeks ago(Melb) and thought if anyone is wanting to boost a 1.8 engine, then this snail would be a nice choice.

I was about to boost my Fiat, but have decided to keep one car at least standard, for the gtv6 is now the symphony of evil.

Going price...$900 with 1bar actuator all fitted, plus a Garrett sticker :D

Would be perfect for a 1.8-2.0 engine.

Sorry dont have photo, i destroyed my camera.

Isn't that a bit small for a 2ltr?

Too small..? If it was, i simply wouldnt be trying to sell it lol..

I'm broke and need some cash back, plain and simple.

Turbo is from Rotormaster, and to say this turbo is too small is like telling the guy who runs Rotormaster that he is an idiot...and i can tell you one thing, he is no idiot.

Depends on you Hp goals. Might be too small for someone but then again it can be perfect for someone else (on a 2l).

I use the very similar GT28R on my 2 litre Nissan 6 and it pumps well enough to pull 7500rpm in top gear.................

Did you by any chance miss the 2.0 liter Alfa V6 turbo? 8)

I believe Mazda did a 1.8 6-cyl?

Thought about it, but the RB20 only just fits under the bonnet and the 30 is taller again. I just want to fix a nagging wiring problem and sell it
