Thank you guys!

Haha, guess we have different views on "dry", that looked like salt-slush i.e. liquid rust...
Looked like fun though, no winter tires I presume?

No winter tires, it's transaxle. Fun would be better with them... Last minute of the video was filmed on totally dry roads - it was dry summer day/night. :D

Finally got the unit perculating. As you say not strickly an Alfa but I respect all the hard work gone into it.
My only observation is that you may want to think about the air intake which is directly above the hot RHS exhaust manifold. You should plumb it for cold air.

Only if I stick it out the bonnet and then I might as well paint flames all over it and let my knuckles drag along the ground.

There just simply isn't enough room under that skinny bonnet. I do plan to make up a new plenum with the TB at the front so that it can suck air through the front grille.
But that's another project for another day.

Cool project, but why build a completely silent rod? 8)

Can't you just turn around the intake manifold?

I realy love the looks of your beast! The color combination with the motor and the car are awesom. And what a nice clean engine. 900kg and v6 drives like hell i geuss.

I must keep the engineer happy..less than 94db happy...after inspection I can make her growl some more.

Interestingly the exhaust is basically the same as what I had with the 4 cylinder and it was nowhere near this quite.
My neighbours either side both remarked on it. I guess they are happier for it.

Just goes to show how much less raucous the 6 is compared to the 4

I tried turning the manifold around but there is even less room at the front due to the tapering bonnet. I guess ol' Henry just never had these things in mind when he designed the Model A.

It gets up and goes alright but compared to most similar sized rods its a slug.
Some of them have absurd PTW ratios.
