My Alfetta GTV_Turbo Project (for 2007).

Post by RicoGTV »

Hello,

It's sure my GTV need more power to race with big car like Porsche 968, Clio V6,....

So I decide to release my 2.0, by another 4 cylinder but with a power 165cv Alfa 75 Potenziata.

Il buy this 75 T for 100€ and I will refresh an mounting the engine on my GTV for the next season (always in a "road-legal" car).

The story will begin here : http://6400.alloforum.com/sujet-6400-0- ... 995-1.html

During the 3000 first kilometers I wan't keep it stock for more relyability.

The only modif I made before the swap the motor into my GTV is :
- larger cylinderhead port
- optimised intake and exhaust manifold
- lighten flywhell (7,5kg => 5,2 kg)
- lighten cranckshaft pulley (2,2kg => 0,7kg)
- lighten and balanced rods
- direct supersprint exhaust

I wan't to use my GTV road and track so modification shouldn' affect motor life.

I wan't to have 190-200cv durabilty what king of modification could I make ?

thanks for your answer.

That looks very exciting. I can't understand how you will get airflow through the intercooler.

It seems to me airflow through that intercooler will be a problem. Of course if it works it works.

For everyday driving it's ok but if you drive it hard for a long time, at the track for instance, soak will become a problem. Hole in the hood is totally ugly on a streetcar but naturally is ok on a racecar. 8)
