Are those pics from your Rouse GTV6? What do you have in the center, or is it a one piece solid shaft?
Jes
Yeah, from the Rouse gtv - the front section is out of the car at the moment, I'll post a pic to show clearly. solid front middle and rear, 2 piece, with sliding centre section!
Has special mounts for the front and rear, direct onto flywheel bolts, and clutch splines.
About the corner speeds earlier........ reading between the lines, your saying JJ NEEDS the 425hp to keep up because of minimum achieveable weight!!!!!! Priceless

Andrew,
Interesting how the cage on the gtv (red-white, paint only) extends not only to the front towers, but even further forward. Did/does/will this car run coil-over only at the front (and no torsion bars), or is it for general strength of the front. We are currently designing the cage for the 3.7, and I have requested the cage to extend to the front towers, but didn't think of going further forward. Comments? Could you post some more pics of the cage.

yeah-yeah-ha-ha very funny... Ignore the Dane...! What I lack in weight reduction Jes has to make up for in lap times!
Keep in mind Jes; I'll see ya at Laguna Seca in March and neither one of us have much experience on that track but we will both have 3.7s (although I might be dragging the extra pounds...) you'll have the pedal penalty!
In any case, you know about us South Africans; we carry all of our weight from the waist down....

...to Alfa, or not to Alfa? That is the question...
Don't think AROSC has any firm dates at Laguna Seca yet. I believe they applied for two, but who knows if we get any... Yup, never been on that track.
Yeah, it would be cool to have both cars there
Luckily, (for me) it doesn't look like my anemic arms will be a disadvantage with the 2.2 lock-to-lock racks
But JJ, you know me, I will lighten every single little ounce out of that car - gotta make good use of that power.

Andrew,
When you post the balance of the pics of the universal equipped driveshaft, can you give us some idea of how much vibration is associated with the set up and does it seem acceptable for purely racing applications?
