Interesting, though-
look how long those runners are-
If you put some numbers in B&G's calculator, it looks like you need a 21" runner to get a 10% pulse strength in a usable RPM band. Wonder how long those M5 ones are.

Hey Al, are you going to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend? I know there is going to be at least one GTV6 racing there and I am driving down (probably in my supercharged car) to watch. I so I hope to see you there.

GTV6

Hi-
I wish I could go, but I am pretty tied up for the next few weeks. I won't be able to go play until the end of the month!
Is Andrew going to be racing?

Thanks,
Al

Ohh..... I tried to read all about this subject until my head almost fell off.

Jim's example would make sence according to formulas. I'd try 20 mm trumpets and perhaps just for curiosity (if they fit) some 140-160 mm trumpets as well.

Here's the variable intake that Mazda used on the GTP cars in 1992. Took this photo at Sebring.

Yeah, I believe that was the 26B quad rotor engine used in the Mazda 787B in Le Mans.....

Hmm just had an interesting thought that hadn't occured to me before. The M5 has individual throttle bodies I assume, now being a V8 that would be enough tb's for 2 of our 4 cylinder motors. Anyone got a wrecked M5 sitting around? :)

Wont get a compelte range of length/rpm but its infinit.
Will get very large if you want complete range or at least much more complicated.
