Ideally the turbo comes in just below the revrange where the atmosferic engine would come on song. The 3000 rpm that's needed on the 75 Tb was fine for me, respons is also good above that number. A chipped 75 Tb will give you a nice kick when you go from no-boost to full-boost. Offcourse the low compression on the 75 Tb lets you down under the 3000 rpm, it really limits performance then, kitten off-boost and a tiger on-boost . But with a modern engine with higher static compression you can also get fine performance off boost.
Lag is only an issue in first gear and if you don't know how to keep your car in it's powerband.

Just spin the wheels a little when driving off and boost will biuld up real fast.
