1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6 Gray w/ Sunroof

I bought this car about 2 years ago to be my ride while finishing up school. Now, because of an upcoming wedding and a military move I am forced to sell it to get a bigger car. I apologize in advance for the bad pictures, but more pictures of anything are available on request. I will do my best to represent everything to the best of my ability. This is the second Italian car I have owned, my other car (and my first car) is a 1981 Fiat Spider; I consider myself an enthusiast for these cars and would like it to go to a good home. Please read the whole post so you have a good understanding of the car. Mileage is approx 84500. I will post the exact as soon as I get a chance. I just drove the car about 900 miles from Maryland to Florida with a stop over inbetween in North Carolina. No problems, and even in i-95 traffic the car averaged about 28 mpg.

Car is currently registered, insured, located and titled in Jacksonville, FL.

Some good things:
- Both heads were rebuilt by DiFatta Brothers in Baltimore approximately 900 miles ago. I have the receipt. Below is an abridged version of the work done:
- New gaskets
- New Timing belt
- New Tensioner
- Radiator hoses
- Valve guides
- Valves resurfaced
- Heads resurfaced
- The following work was done by Eurospec shortly after I bought the car (An Italian car specialist in Jacksonville, FL)
- BRAND NEW rear brake calipers
- New master cylinder
- New Clutch master cylinder
- Stainless steel brake lines (DOT approved)
- New rear brake rotors
- Done within the last 48 hours:
- New spark plugs
- New battery
- 4 brand new headlights (hi and low beams halogen from IAP)
- Seats (especially the rear seats) are in nice shape. The driver seat has rubbing marks from exit and entry.

Some not so good things:
- High beams don’t work, I am working on this problem right now, I originally thought that the column switchs were busted, but I think there is just a disconnected wire somewhere.
- A/C hasn’t worked for the past year. I haven’t taken it in to be recharged, but I imagine there is a leak in the system so the whole thing will need to be pressure tested. When it did work it was nice and cold.
- There is rust, please see pictures.
- The paint shows its age, but with a thorough polishing its old glory does shine through.
- The paint on the bumpers is weathered
- Passenger side window is slow in rising. Grounds may need to be cleaned.
- On the passenger side engine bay wheel well there looks like there was a rust repair done. I will post a photo as soon as weather permits.
- I managed to break the trunk cylinder lock. So a new cylinder is needed. Otherwise the trunk will open with just a finger.

I would like to get $3750.00 for it but that price is very negotiable due to urgent need. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Please contact me at james.kragh@gmail.com if you want to take a look or have any other questions; if you send me an email we can also talk via cell phone if you prefer. I would be willing to drive the car to deliver it or meet half way if it is a reasonable distance. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross-country after all the work I have put into it.

Thank you,
James
