Mats does your car usually oversteer like that?

Straight-cut gears.

Great video!!!

Love the sound of the J. Moberg 156 - sounds a bit like the 155 V6 TI of the 93-94 DTM cars. Maybe I'm just dreaming. Can't believe there is even a 164 in there.

Cool with so many Alfas racing! Lucky guys!

Not that much, I pretty much shredded my tires during the last race and I didn't want to spend the money for a new set for only one last race. I also had no chance of either gaining or losing positions overall in the standings.

Nope, it's the wastegate, something is sticking and it makes a terrible noise. At least that's the owners analysis.

tnx. :)

You think an inline 4 sounds like one of the most fantastic cars of all times?
Both the 156 cars are getting engine upgrades during the winter, as is the 164 actually, and the red 75 3.0 with yellow stuff on the bottom.

Wow, really?

It has a similar whine, of course less, but...

Just the other day I was watching a lot of video from 93, 94 DTM.

Absoulutely the best semi pro/amature video production of a race i have ever seen. FANTASTIC. The start reminds me of the some of the old European formula 1 racing movies from the 60's/70's....

Lot of work there!

Great job Mats! :D :D

Hi everyone,
My Alfa 156 is originally a car from the Dutch series "Pearle Alfa 156 Challenge". That means that it is based upon an Alfa 156 Gr N built by Alfa Corse in 1998. For the Dutch series they upgraded the engines a bit(pistons, camshafts, modified crankshaft and retuned ecu) to produce around 180 hp. Actually the gearbox is a 5 speed dogbox from Drenth Gearboxes, but the gear linkage is from Bacci. The weight of the car is 1060 kg.

I’ll tell you it is a beautiful car to drive. Very well balanced and overall it gives you a real race car feel.
