You should try rolling the lip in the rear arch for more clearance when you lower it with 7jrims and then fill the inside lip with silicone otherwise its traps water and dirt which leads to rust .

The idea is sound enough but the execution is wrong. NEVER use silicon on bodywork anywhere if you don't want a free vasectomy from the panel shop fraternity. Silicon is a painter's nightmare.

Use polyurethane.

Not even acrylic silicone . I always see the panel shops wiping this into joints on internal parts of bodywork and then painting over .

Jose , coming on nicely . Did you fill in that cut out hole in the right inner fender . Which red you going for . Alfa have three Rosso reds at the booth I used . I changed the red on the last respray when I redid the rear arches and was much happier as the previous seemed a bit maroon . Not sure why .
By the way will you be ready for Kyalami . It's such a difficult track to try learn even after a few races there .

Weather has been pretty cold and miserable in jhb as it's rained non stop from Thurday night through to Saturday. Autobody shop has started to reprayed the car but has not finished, should be done by Wednesday. Here are some pictures of car before being resprayed.

Yes we only got three under Alfa which are called Rosso and the vary a huge amount . Jose I suggest you check the colour chart before they paint , otherwise you might get the colour on Domis 156 twinspark that he sold . That's what mine was like .

Rosso530 is the obvious choise here IMO.

Very difficult from pictures (white balance mess things upp) but I'd place my bet on Rosso 130...

Car out of the spray booth, they'll be polishing it in the next day or so. Then they'll paint the floorboard & boot area black. The roll cage will be painted same red as the car.
