Hello GTV6 Forum,
Ok, I know its not a V6 but acording to the seller it is Legal for the Club events SCCA, but not CSRG. I was wondering what the forum thinks, in terms of price, problems, etc. It has a clean title, molds for the body parts, Log Book, spare parts, etc. Here are some pictures of the Car. Thanks for any and all suggestions and advise.

OH Yeah. That is a sweet ride! Not much Alfa left to it....
How about after you purchase it doing a run of those body panels?

The only thing I don't understand is why have the exhaust go
back
up
cross to other side
down
back
cross back to driver side and exit.
Why not bring it forward,
down,
back,
and out on same side...

You will understand that once you ride in a low-low car without interior. The floor will be
plenty hot.
You're in RHD-coutry right? Then you won't have this issue.

Right hand on road, left hand seating.
Seriously, heat can be an issue, but when you have 10 feet of header right in front of the firewall, you have a big heat issue...which is one reason to wrap them. And you might as well wrap the down pipe under the car as well.
and why run it back to driver side?
would save feet of tubing and lbs of metal.
No turbo on this car..look at intake.

So what's the price?
Heat perhaps but could also be the exhaust tuning and/or both.
No mention of power, gearing, brakes etc.
Where's the specs on this car?
Looks the goods even if it is green !!

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully everything will work out but you never know. Going to bring my associates to check it out next week. We are trying to figure out what the price would be right now. No books like Kelly Blue book, etc. I don't even think it has a standard frame. What does the forum think a price would be? This is a full race car GT3. but was not very competitive nationally. I am only guessing but you probably need to have big bucks to be competitive. If we do purchase it we are going to repaint it to match our current GTV6.

You don't have to look very long at the photos to see the stock frame is raplaced with tube frame at least in the front.
Most likely the exhaust is like it is because thee's no space elsewhere.
The right price is very hard to estimate. I won't even try.

Are you planning to go racing, nationally? What is you plans and objectives with this car? Not only does it require LOTS of $ to be nationally competitive, it also requires LOTS of talent+skills, which may be even harder to come by

Additionally, it will take an enormous amount of time!
If you "just" want to put around time trailing or doing some gentleman wheel-to-wheel racing, as much fun can be had with something far simpler (and more suitable for the less experienced driver) - stock'ish 75, Alfetta, GTV6, BMW E30, Miata, ...
If you are serious about that car I think you should ally yourself with someone knowledgeable about race car building and design to inspect the car for you and get a thorough PPI - forget your typical mechanic. This is a totally different ballgame.
What is asking price? I would not be surprised if price is $50k.
I think I saw a track GTV6 advertised on the AlfaBB - I think it was prepared by your mechanic, no? Did you check that out? Then there is Colin's GTV6, though I'm not sure if he is still interested in selling.

Hmmmm....I bet they would take 25,000 (no trailer, some spares).
More than that and I would start looking for a Porsche racer...
