It is a bumper turned upside down, but a front bumper I think. Something he nicked from one of his mates while they were not looking.

Hey Zeefa Zamani. You are on the money but you got Pessos instead of real Mula.
The air dam is an upside down bumper from a commercial delivery van. It delivers horsepower- hahaa.

Dennis. Hi Buddy. No, no arsekicking yet. Very much just trying to bed all the experimental stuff in before we really go racing. Me thinks the next six months will be sorting stuff out. In any case, the local club guys are a tight and friendly fraternity and we help each other out no matter what you drive so it wouldn't do to stick it to anyone here.

BTW, The Brick is still nude. Trying to find time to get some racing decal clothes on him soon and make him look the part.

However, having said that, when those pesky southern boys hit town and we meet on the track, well, she's gonna be on for young and old !! Don't give a sheit what they drive. :D

Alfettish. I promised you a squiz at my headers your avatar inspired. So here they are and some other insights into this amazingly tractable Twin Spark engine.

Hope you like it.

A second engine intake photo is a en experiment using socks instead of the plenum but it made the same power.

At about this time I think is entirely appropriate that I publicly express my gratitude for advice, assistance and actual work done with respect to my car. Because I am not a mechanic but wanted to build a race car and all that entails, you could say I embarked on a huge journey. And what a journey it has been involving people from all over the planet. These same people have gone on to become personal friends and all thanks to this forum. Here's my helpers in no particular order:-

Ex Forum

Bazza, SA
JK, Greece
Dennis, Netherlands
Micke, Finland
Kimmo, Finland
Mats, Sweden
Maurizio, Netherlands
Daniel,Oz
Maurice, Netherlands
Brian, US
Paul, UK

Outside of Forum

Jim Steck, US
Gary Stewart, Oz
Greg Summerville, Oz
Jim Milliner, Oz
Ian Helsdon, Oz
Richard Anderson, Oz
Bob Whitehouse, Oz
Gordon Cooke,Oz
Andrew Scadding, Oz
Mark Jackson, Oz

There a many more individuals that have assisted in minor ways all contributing to the picture as a whole.

There have been numerous companies involved with the project which I am happy to provide the info via a PM if you need it but I don't want this little item to be considered an excuse for a commercial. It is just my way of saying a HUGE thank you to all.

This making of this car started as a special project between my self and a close friend of mine of many years who also happened to be a great mechanic. Unfortunately, at the early stage of the project, he developed a heart attack and suffered a Stroke.

To finish the project as a dedication to my friend, the people I have listed above contributed in no small way with the sort of knowledge, skill, part supplies and more to fill the gap left by my friend. I could not have done it without you guys, to say thank you seems just no enough.

On a happy note, you will be pleased to know that my friend is mending and takes a special pride in the Flying Brick.

As for me, I'm just looking forward to BURN SOME RUBBER !!!

My sincere thanks guys, MD

beautiful MD!
you have a fantastic little car there and I hope it kicks some arse on the track.

About the avatar; I cannot take credit for it in any way.
As far as I know, it was built by forum member 4sfed for Brian Berger (Autocomponenti).
