In reference to this topic and after much hand wringing, I have decided to build up a 75 series and just service the GT for road use. Just to what level etc is a work in progress.

BTW Zeefa I never sold the Cab. We still use it. It might (depending on funds) get a tweak.

..and Jim, the Cab makes more power now than the 3.2V6 with less weight so why would I bother. Gotta remember that transaxle has to stay glued together. I am limiting my power to no more than 300hp whatever it is going to be coming from. More than that will take more bucks and driving talent than I got. Spare me the wise arse comebacks on this one.

Yes I think the Cab would make a good account of itself there. A damned long way to get to the track and back ! Glad you enjoyed the clip. Here is another one at a different track and an involvement of the GT. Interesting to see the "affordable" modifications to the various models from privateers to campaign these cars. Notwithstanding, the GTV6 remains king in this group.

Yeah the GT sits high, any higher and the driver would have to wear an oxygen mask.

But still pretty damn impressive. I think he is bounded by rules to keep a minimum weight to be in his class, pretty sure if he can lose more weight he would pass the GTV6s.

Which reminds me, in November, I get to test my car at Laguna. Hopefully with JKSpeed headers

There are a few very fast 4Cs there, some can outgun Corvette Z06s, so even a modified 3.2 in a light transaxle car will have a tough time.

Fwd can be fun, my 156 3.0 has become pretty fast car with 1000kg and 270-ish hp (there were 71 cars on timeattack)
