Freeze plugs

Do 2.5 liter engines have freeze plugs. If so where are they located.

Dont think so, as the engineheater used is mounted on a cooling hose;

Haven't seen any freeze plugs in any alu blocked engine actually.

just looked on my 3.0 and there are freeze plugs on the rear of the block,so one couldn't see them with the tranny bolted up.
