Situation looks catastrophic in some states. Hope all of our friends there are safe. Thoughts and prayers with all of you!

We have been watching it on the news everyday in UK and my Mom is out in NSW visiting my sister at the moment and it looks and sounds so horrendous. The loss of animal life is absolutely frightening not to mention the civilian casualties. Our prayers and thoughts to your families in Oz .

I'm on the central coast of NSW, at 10.30am it was already 40", so far 12million acres have burnt and they estimate 480million animals have perished.
