Anyone seen the movie Love the Beast..? Its a movie put together by Australian actor Eric Bana, about his ford, eb model i think, anyway at the start , one of his mates mentions Alfa Romeo, and how you cant pick a girl up in of those, you need a ford eb, i scoffed, but hey was very funny to hear...

Was great when Jeremy Clarkson said to him, your mad for putting 600HP on a car with leaf springs!! That was so true, but hey each to their own, but i really enjoyed the movie!!

Anyway, The footage was great but the storytelling was kinda half assed, I got the feeling that they just got tired of having shitloads of footage laying around and edited this together.

Yeah i agree with you there. There was very quick in-car footage of my mechanic crashing his Fiat Spider years ago, he now races a Fiat Turbo Punto and does very well in his class.

Was interesting what Jay Leno said about Eric Bana's car though.."If you had done all the work yourself, you wouldnt have crashed it"

He was right in a way, he just threw his cheque book at it, and it felt completley alien to him..as they say, less is more...

Yeah i must admit when at a set of lights or whatever, the old girl certainly gets afew looks...but then here in Melbourne if your in the wrong suburb, that EB Falcon would be worshipped, whilst the Alfa would be scoffed at...

But i remember afew months ago i parked out the front of some shops to get something, and this girl looked back at the car, then gave me a very nice smile, she loved it...noice.
