Hey guys I wanna know if the 156 is any good with grip, Reason being a Guy is selling a 156 with a 3.0 166 motor in it, it moves like a beast ,but I dont wanna get wrapped around a tree drving it

What do you mean? a 2.5 156 is fast enough to come unstuck at all the same places as a 3.0...

Nisar, Is it a metallic blue one as I went to test drive it in Lens. I thought it went dam fast with the 2.5 gearbox. Quicker than the GTA. Car was solid but I thought it was worth the price of R40 thou. Did not buy it as another deal came up. Just make sure when you floor it you are not holding your cell phone in one hand as that wheel will rip left with torque steer. Try drive Div's 3.7 156 then you are talking serious power.

The reason I was Asking was I saw an old episode of top gear when Clarkson was testing the 147 GTA and switched off the traction control ,he couldn't keep it going in a strait line ,and this car has no traction control

Nisaar, clarkson was really over exagerating for sensationalism reporting. He probably still had his hands full of vaseline . The 3.7 is another story but most normal self respecting man can still keep that on the straight line even with slight arthritis in both wrists. ie dont worry. Maybe not same car but these were not genuine gta rims on it.

Clarkson might show off and carry on for himself , the one thing i like about him is that he truly Likes and Defends A L F A R O M E O at every turn. ton that same show they were testing the Golf R32 he said "I'll go of to buy the golf and I will come home with the alfa" . Oh and by the way he also owned a GTV6 2.5 there he said " when you drive it through a tunnel at 4500 RPM it sounds like an angel licking your soul" and he said to park it in London was like trying to park a donkey in a bird cage

I'd throw Q2 in, really makes these cars much more enjoyable to drive.
