Just thought I would post a few pics from the good times this year .
Serious fun was had in GTV's(and other Alfa's) with other Alfa nuts from across the world . This rainged from launch of the Brera, making Alfa videos at Kyalami, testing with Ron & Jon, testing with Barry, testing with Dawie, free styling over a Bertone GTV, getting a GT, loosing a GT (bad times) and tracking endangered wild dogs in the 164.
Pics follow.(had to reduce a few - lost quality)

Sad times. One right off. Brilliant Alfa safety features of six airbags allowed wife to walk out from head on with another van at 80km/h. Both clipped each other. Reason for right off is that these safety features cost more to replace (seatbelts, airbags in seatsand hood linings) than actual mechanical damage. Tunnel is also bent though.

Tracking a pack of wild dogs on my way to Barry in the 164. Temp guage over reads a bit. Best bargain of the year.

I may have been pretty negative on other threads about South Africa but I dont think you can have as much fun and freedom testing GTV's without plates, exhausts, with slicks etc as we do here. Example Barry drove the works GTA race car home from Pretoria to his place on the freeway(60km dstance). No one really cares. My new track car is already licensed for the road and it has not even got there yet.
Only rule is you must pay your fines as you dont want to get caught at a roadblock and spend an afternoon in a overcrowded S.A. cell.
If we got our judiciary and policing on crime back on top we will have a brilliant country again.
In the meantime my pet Spot(nearly 1yr) keeps an eye on my GTV's. As his claws on not retractable he tends to scratch the hoods on the cars.
Me and Spot.
Happy 2007 everyone!!

Zman,You dont get out to change a flat here..you keep driving..a pack of wild dogs will tear you up pretty quick!
Got back from the farm and took a few pics to show you how beautiful S.A. really is..pity about the human race..
Found some encampments left over from the anglo-boer war built by the British as lookouts and sleeping quarters for the troops..
