f'ed his stuff up good! Wow! Didn't blow the heads off - it split the freakin' block in two horizontally! That's insane...
I love how he has this extra beefy, triple roll-cage to protect him from a roll-over (that you never see on tractor pulls), but his face and body is wide open and fully exposed to the billion hp bomb right there before his eyes

I would be amazed if he didn't wind up soiling his underwear...
Barry,I imagine it would be safe to assume those turbo's are just a little to large for use on a 3.5 twin ???

F,Thanks for your sms`s..
These guys use staged turbocharging to get the boost and power from these things..I have seen 3 stage turbos, scary stuff..
A little too big for your motor..

Great pics Barry! How on earth can you blow an engine in half at the Block!!! Must have built it well, i guess when crankcase strength becomes limiting you must be making serious HP!!!!!

Do they even do Tractor pulling in the US? I thought it was a Euro thing, Sweden, Denmark Holland and Germany are quite big in it from what I have seen on Eurosport, but I can't say I have actively followed it...
btw, didn't some old Yank V8's use to split right down the middle in the camshaft bearings?

Mats, indeed they do. A lot more common in the rural areas. A local machine shop builds engines for them. Truly brutal stuff.

I guess you are refferring to Tractor Pulling?
What about the ones with a set of heli-turbine engines? Now that's just
stupid.

I live just outside a small village in Ohio with a population of about 3000 people. The tractor pull is almost as popular as the demolition derby during the yearly fair. I am about 3 miles from the fairgrounds and can hear the tractors clearly when I stand outside my house. Never seen a heli-turbine model though.
