Hey Bazza, that colour is sheer pants wetting excitement !

As for the donk, why not keep the front end nice and light and stick in a turbo twin spark? That will keep it in the family.

Hey Mike..Yea,but I have to buy one first...R10 000.00 ..a bit steep when i have 3.8 24v about and a 30l 24v turbo...I might even go good ol` 12v turbo for myself...240 wheel hp and oodles of torque...dont really need more..(says he trying to BS himself!)

or a Nissan sr20 det......(ducks..)!!

Must say,old Nord 20l turbo is not shabby either....and those I have lying around in droves...
Will decide...
V6 is heavy and takes away the nimbleness of the cars.....mmmmm....

Its not going to be a racer or such, simply a daily driver that will handle extremely well and go like Sh*t off a shovel...and stop well and...ooh boy.. :D
French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.

A turbo system isn't exactly weightless either... :?

Bazza,

Regardless of all the dramas that the SA system bestows upon you and all the traumas you have had to endure, you retain a spring in your step and continue to inspire the rest of us around the world who can only sit back and admire your talent.

If there ever was an Alfa hero, you'd be mine. My sincere best wishes for your project.

In true Oz style, expect to get a carrot up the foochoo the next time. I only drop my guard in exceptional circumstances...

Baz,

The bumpers and skirts? What color will they be? All matching I hope.

Engine wise, a screaming V6 would be nice of course. You know you can get the power, reserve it for something else, like your future Ghibli Cup . This one needs a beautiful engine bay (obviously it must be a V6 then  ), some speed, but most importantly it needs to shriek like a banshee. High compression 2.5 24V would be nice.

Z,I think Im a bit older than most here...except old man Mike and historic JK..

So a screaming v6 ,although its an audible orgasm, really is not for me at this stage..
Id rather have 500Nm torque at 1000rpm than a banshee screamer..
Now having said that,Fernandos engine almost has the best of both worlds here..
Its got a bunch of torque low down which I really enjoy..It also revs freely although,it does take its time to fill up the last 500 or so rpm easily..

Ill probably look at a 30l 24v turbo for this car..A 7000 rpm limit and boost in at 2800 rpm...High CR and lowish boost..I reckon I can get 7psi on the std 10.5 cr..

Watch this space...
