It's a racecar, trust me.
Mats, you are clearly wrong. Of course that's a road car, it has 2 vents and 2 seats. Road car! :P

Other things that give it away are the road car under trays, the road car full roll cage and the road car slick tyres.

See, road car............... :wall: :P
Yeah, and the road car sun stripe in the windshield and the road car ground clearance.

Wouldn't mind hanging a licenseplate on it and taking it to the shops... 8)

Police might become a problem as we are supposed to have at least 2mm of profile on our tyres... :(

But definetely a nice video.... Nice car also... :P

Yeah Mats! I know it hurts, but now you get the fun side of it! :D

Giuletta:
looks like you might have to put a hole in the license plate for the starter shaft though....

Catch me?

If Holland was as flat as everyone thinks that would be really hard, but since we have speedbumps every 100 meter or so it's just a matter of time until i'm stuck on one of those...

@ xrad;

starter? i'll just have my girlfriend push-start me every day.

At least i can stay in bed a little longer each morning. the 40 km i need to drive will take only 14 minutes instead of 35...

Will need to discuss the amount of 'petrol-money' with my boss.

If we are discussing fast cars on the Ring here are a couple.
Both with street tires.

And then a faster lap. (slick tires)

 I was in the Nurburgring neighborhood yesterday and couldn't resist to at least have a look.
There was a radical lapping, the guy didn't have a clue (even less then me) regarding lines, but damn that is one fast machine

Did you do any laps?
Any thoughts about the new walls on the bridge in Breidsheid? Doesn't look too bad on the videos (for instance the FXX video above) but it would be nice to hear from someone that has actually driven it.

No, it was tempting though, daily driver was reason enough to stay off the track. I just don't have the time this year and I don't want to pain myself to much.

From a spectator view it is terrible. My favorite hangout was Breidscheid when taking a brake from driving. Less crowded etc.
Entering the track from Breidscheid is become also less safe now.
Before you could look upwards the hill and watch for a safe gap between cars to enter the track, the wall take the complete view.
Doesn't look too bad on the videos (for instance the FXX video above) but it would be nice to hear from someone that has actually driven it.
From the track view I don't know, I guess it doesn't make it better. In a 599XX you don't have enough time to watch the scenery. With a 75 you have plenty of time
Yesterday I actually wondered about the people actually slowing down at breidscheid. There is a speed limit there, but the past years it was ignored completely by almost everyone on the track.

Yeah I noticed a new "70" sign before the lefthander and of course the "50" sign on the bridge.
I would honestly be quite proud to get a ticket to frame that reads "Nürburgring Nordschleife" :D

I have a loose plan to fix some small chassis issues on the 155 and take it to the ring his summer, would be nice to meet up. Schnitzel?
