Garth,
Unfortunately had to miss it due to work commitments and a severe lack of funds!
I would have loved to have gone... could have kicked myself when I saw photos of the parade lap alone! I guess I'll have to *try* and make up for it and the Alfa Museum in Italy this October
I'll be taking my trusty DSLR, naturally.
Far out it gets lonely as an Alfa owner down in Tassie, I tell you what!
There *were* about 3 italians at our last 'Club Motori Italia' meet... in a field of 50 odd. Mostly skylines, and other jap cars. Don't get me wrong, they have their place... but that place just isn't in an Italian car club. And the field is getting narrower! Two written off this month!
Oh and just to be clear, that link is for the same Alfetta you saw. It's basically the latter half of the build. There's a startup video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu50yO7qOPE
Pretty tough for a 2 litre. He did all the work himself, I'm pretty sure. Last I heard he was still awaiting dyno tuning, as he got the car sorted the friday before Philip Island!
