Marc,no..still rubber mount it..Uhmm...go "t" piece rather..Those plugs are soft and dont always come out..engine in car,big hole in head=furious Marc !
French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.

hi jes,
i am waiting for some pieces from barry that were stolen TWICE at south african customs.
oil cooler assy, clutch, pressure plate and brake booster.
the car is standing in the garage and nothing has been done for two month.
engine is in the car but gearbox needs to be repared and the wiring loom from the gotech must be connected.
not so much work anymore :?
do you have the gotech on your 3,7?
do you have some mappings for it?

Ah, that sucks.

Actually, this coming Thursday JJ and I are trying to get the two 3.7 race cars on track for this first time together since rebuild of mine.

We should obviously have a map by then. If our configurations are similar you should be able to use our map - we run GoTech Pro-x. Check with Barry if our map would be better than the map it came with. I suspect we have different cams, compression, lifters (ours are solid), etc. This first is to check if you have Pro-x.

hi RZ, get a tracking device on your crate so you can pic up exactly where parts were stolen. I will keep an eye out for a 3.7 build at our airport :) . Tell Baz, to take pics so you can claim from customs as all packages are insured. You gonna love that engine as they are so dam strong. There is only 1 sec difference on one of our tight circuits between a 3.7 race car and a 3,4 tt race car(both gtv's with rs). Traction is the limiting factor here on this circuit. When do you get your parts ?

the tracking nr lead to the place where barry brought the parts
when he asked for them he first had to pay and than the man replied that a dinner for him and his wife would be welcome....
maybe the parts will show up?
lucky for me, barry is very helpful.

Kev,Most of the large components arrived at Marc`s..The large crate.
Initially the smaller crate containing clutch ,oil cooler and booster did not arrive.I then re did all of that and shipped it again.
Again it has not arrived and the ****`s at customs and shipping all want back handers to follow anything up !!

Think Ill take a drive on Sunday and deliver them myself ,huh Marc ?? 8) :D :D

Same as the package I sent to Israel for Tomer ,it arrived after 8 months !!!!!
