I'm guessing that they might end up costing here around 1200 bucks with shipping and taxes, for your same rims. What I didn't see listed is the 5x 98, only 5 x100 and other measures...

They are not listed on Ebay anymore, but 18racing DOES have more.

If interested, Call

Jessica Lo

Phone: 925-339-3828

18racing [sales@18racing.com]

These are distributed all over the world so I bet it will be much less than 1200$

Well our problem as usual is taxes, it's about 106% over cost+shipping, that's why I figured out about 1200 dollars....

Bought one test tire 225 50 15 for fitting. I know it fits the rear..just worried about the front. Anyway, popped one on this am and it looks good. Plenty of room under fender lip while the wheel is straight. On a curve, hitting a big bump will probably cause a little rubbing. But this front end is also lowered.

The 30mm offset helps move the wheel back, but the 225 width moves it back out some. will test later for inner rubbing, but looks like enough room except for tight turns..

So if you like the look of 15's and don;t have brake upgrades, I would recommend this wheel tire size.

ALSO: you will need to get a set of longer barreled lug nuts because the originals will bottom out too soon (need about 5mm longer)

I bought a set of

24 ACORN BULGE CHROME LUG NUTS 12 x 1.5 TOTYOTA BLAZER

from ebay. Work perfectly and you can use a thin walled 3/4 inch socket to put them on.

xrad,

So the wheels were shipped direct from Philippines or from 18racing in the US?

shipped from hayward california, but these are drop shipped from warehouses all over the world.

went out for a tough ride today, tight turns, big bumps, train tracks, pot holes..

I really looked closely at the new tire and wheel wells, NO rubbing areas seen anywhere, inside or out...

7mm inboard placement with the new rims (and then an extra 15mm back out w/225 tire) + ~8mm outboard from stock tire AND radius is about 5mm less. Pretty close but seems fine.

This website is a huge PITA!!! I always have to repost my stuff twice. So instead of retyping my long and informative post, I am just doing pics and one sentence

anyway, worked on 164 conversion. Coming along OK, need a few odd pieces like one m8x1.0 nut...

Moving along I see 8) the engine is looking very sweet indeed! And the wheels - really good look to 'em - I may have to look into those since the wheels I really want run around $500 ea. and that ain't gonna be happening anytime soon! GV

They are very nice rims. I just had all my tires mounted and balanced. 225 50 15's fit perfectly on these rims with NO rubbing on normal turns and regular use.

a little sqeal on tight turn but grip very well. Easy to get them to chirp in first..

Price is very good.

Looks great - what are the plans for bumpers? I've always kept my car pretty original, but have been thinking hard about getting rid of the bumper inserts and pulling the bumpers in... of course something from Europe could be nice looking. GV

Personally I think the chrome ones make it look incomplete. It does no suit that bodywork . if you are not stressed about bumpers protecting your car I have perfect lightweight ones used for race car which '' maybe'' i van get sent to you if youre interested.
