Tonights test fitting is a success.
Funny how small it looks when it's in place. Don't get me wrong, I like it!

The red part is a fixture that simulates the turbo flange, great help when fiddling around.


Nice and low profile, good for hood temp I imagine.


Also has room towards the head/cam cover, good if I need a heat sheild.





Plenum in place, nice package. The plenum looks very wide but It fit's great in the car.

Just gets better . You gonna find space around that spaghetti for engine stay or you going solid mounts like the Imsa 75 with solid mounts and custom bell housing . Was just looking at imsa pics in track and race section . That car had nearly 400 hp at 2 bar boost here . Not sure of it's internals . - and an endless budget

Actually Mats, your camera is also quite good . BTW you have a TIG, do you only use it for tack welding? Which Micke is welding it all up? Our Micke with the Q4 and the GTV racecar?

Engine mount fits without problems and it will be rubber suspended. There will be heat shields...

Camera is a Canon Powershot S100, nice little compact.
The welding is done in Mickes garage and this is in Gothenburg, I've never even met Q4/GTV-Micke...

Next up is to finish the fuel system and electric system, plus the Engine harness... That's a huge job but hopefully a fun one.

I like the plenum and the exhaust manifold. Are you going to strengthen the liners?

No, bought new liners and will run lowish boost. I don't think the liners will be an issue before the gearbox...
