Cage is done, finally... :)

Just need to match the color of the paint and paint it. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. I mean, how many types of red can there be?

Just looking through the color codes for the 116 cars gives you a pretty good hint. :x

But this car is painted in some random red, never found out which one. Guess it's time now. :|

It's quite nice to come home from work and open up the windows just to have the sound of 25 Porsche GT3 RS going round a racetrack. :)
Last year I was a marschal and didn't realize how close it really is, 1.7Km, just over a mile. Is there anyone out there living closer to a trach where they drive national touring car championships? Posche Cup races etcetera... :)

So maybe it's time to show a little of my upgrades in the front suspension I did this last 1½ years. It's been a long winding road but now I can finally say I'm done and I'm looking forward to see how it performs.
Oh, and while I was in there I figured I might as well make some other changes as well. The rear suspension got some love too.

Nah, it's DTM all the way... :P

There was another cool car at the race doing exhibition laps, Ronnies old -72 March...
Two quite different V8 cars on the track at the same time.

After a day off looking at the big boys I was back in the garage, had some extra hands to help me again so I took the opportunity to dump in "Plan B" into the engine bay...

Took tree hours to clean and prep it, 15 minutes to drop it in and put away the tools...
It's in anyways and now I only need to find a set of headers. I could have sworn I had a set laying around... :x

A...A ts, a sensible interim solution

Off topic: what for a motor mount are you using on the left (exhaust) side, this is not the standard one / are they any better.
On the exhaust side the vulcanized top plate always comes free from the rubber. Even when they are shielded properly.

Sensible indeed, good mileage...

Don't know what the engine mounts are to be honest. Came with the car...
Probably some old Volvo part though.

Good idea to take a short and be able to take part in upcoming races.

Looking forward to see your car in action at Knutstorp 28 of June. :P

Bad thing is that we are not in same class. But you will fix this untill next year.

I just got a huge box in the mail. I like getting stuff... :)

Image
Three complete sets, only one from each pair shown in the pic. Helper springs to keep everything in place and to be able to change springs track-side without special tools.

Image
They are not the same even though it's a bit difficult to spot in this useless picture...

Image
Adaptors and the 4lbs helper.

Image
Lockable aerocatch latches, so I don't have to worry when the car is out of sight. :)

Please don't ask for rates because you won't get an answer anyway at this point.
