TPS not registering when car running, WTH?

In the tuning phase with my MS-II now and have an odd one. When the ignition is on run but the car is not running (i.e. power going to MS but engine not running) my Volvo 850 TPS reads fine in MegaTune, when I step on the throttle the TPS % rises as expected and drops when I let off. So far so good.
After I start the engine the TPS % no longer registers in MegaTune. For my pigtail harness between the L-Jet connector and the MS-DB37 I've got the following:
LJet 2 -> MS 26
LJet 3 -> MS 22
LJet 18 -> GND
Do I have one of the wires switched or something? Not sure why the engine running would make a difference.
