Hey! that looks nice.
What is it from? Is it lighter than stock? How is the fit on the off side (side not shown in pics)?

Much much lighter than aluminum beams (weigh about ?8lbs each)...these came off an Alfetta with similar body style...they are tight on the sides (about 1/4 inch from paint) ...will grind them down for nice fit...
have to weld up some brackets as the old ones are bent...

overall i must say that it looks great on there but is seemingly "missing" something...tho ive no clue what it would be...maybe a small thin black rubber strip down the centerline of the bumper?

It looks pretty good, a bit retro if you can make an already retro car more retro. lol
I have recently fitted an 86 GP edition front nose to my car. Getting it to sit right is a bit of a bracket fiddle.
I just have to raise it at the back a bit now.
As you can see (for those familiar with the GP edition) I have modified the air intake and filled the headlight washers holes.
I should finish mounting it very soon.

Shortlife: Missing black tape stripe and two fat black rubber blocks..part of US code at one time, I guess...they were half falling off anyway

yeah, I agree...four aluminum rivets drilled out and they fall right off! Actually, they were falling off already...
Got a set of nice chrome mirrors to replace the power ones, too.

What are you saying about the power mirrors?... I like electric motors that are louder than my engine. lol

well, since I can practically reach out the passenger window to adjust it, I think I will just use two of these sharp looking mirrors to compliment the bumps and trim....
just a matter of paint color now....farrari red? bright silver? jet black? original white??
any thoughts????

X-rad,
Seems like you are trying to convert the car to an alfetta GT 1979-81? Why not just get one instead of going backwards?
