hood pins

Has anyone on here used hood pins to attach their hood or trunk lid?
I need to get some for the carbon fiber trunk lid I just made, and for the hood that I intend to make shortly. I would like them to be the flush fitting type, not the muscle car look ones.
What do I need to know before I buy the actual parts? Do I need any measurements? Any recomendations on which ones I should get?

I am leaning toward some rice boy ones that they sell on ebay. They use a key to lock the pins in place. They claim to have carbon fiber washers. Most likely make in China. Has anyone used anything like I am describing (locking type hood pins)?

Every race car in the world have them, that includes mine naturally.

If I had a CF hood I would get Aerocatch latches.

Damn,
Those things are eye candy!
I am going to look for a source on them. Thanks Mats

Update:

Rather than get the ones I really wanted, I decided to save some money. I bought some simple ones from Pitstopusa.com. The pins are aluminum and they were only about $14 per set. I bought 4 sets. When I have stopped needing other things, maybe I will go back and get the aerocatch type.
Still have not installed the composite hood and trunk. I am confident in my work, but around here you have guys jumping on your hood and cleaning your windshield at every major intersection. The hood would most likely be fine, but I dont want to worry every time I see a fat guy with a water bottle eyeing up my dirty windshield.
