Turn Signal Screws

Post by powderhoundcd »

Are the original, amber plastic screws that hold the turn signal lenses (U.S. bumper, not sure about Euro) available anywhere?

If not, is there an easy replacement?

Thanks!

Try Difatta, they had a few when I bought mine last year. Ask for the parts guy and might plan on buying a couple of hoses or belts or something to make it worth their while....

I bought the lenses from Centerline but didn't discover I needed the screws for a few months. You might try them, they are great help and carry very nice Baldwin filters.

When mine deteriorated and disappeared I replaced them with stainless steel M6 socket head cap screws (allen heads). Maybe not as pretty, but effective.

I went to the local marine store and got a few m6 screw head bolts and they look very nice. I was always afraid that those plastic fasteners would break off.
